Tippy and a couple other grey foxes where confiscated by Fish and Wildlife because they were illegally owned and not cared for properly. They all were taken and held at the same facility until proper places could be found for each to live out their lives, they were too accustomed to living with people to be released to the wild.

Our other nocturnal residents, like Cleo the Ruppell’s fox do sleep all day and then play around at night but Tippy doesn’t mind lounging out during the day where she can be seen on top of her house or on a resting bench.
