Jezebel arrived at Popcorn Park in 2006 after her loving owners found themselves unable to provide the specialized care she and her family needed. Wanting the very best for them, they made the difficult decision to find a place where Jezebel, her mother, Jenny, and her sister, Whisper, could receive lifelong care. We were honored to welcome all three donkeys to the refuge, where they quickly settled into their new home.

Although Jenny and Whisper have since passed away, Jezebel continues to thrive at Popcorn Park. Curious, intelligent, and full of personality, she's always eager to greet visitors and isn't shy about making her presence known with her signature donkey bray.

These days, you'll often find her spending time with her companions, Mickey the Appaloosa and Dominick the donkey, grazing on fresh grass, soaking up the sunshine, or enjoying one of her favorite treats, a crunchy carrot! She also shares a special bond with her longtime caretaker, Mike, who is always happy to stop by.

Jezebel has been a cherished member of the Popcorn Park family for nearly two decades, and we're proud to provide her with the love, care, and peaceful retirement she deserves. By sponsoring Jezebel, you'll help ensure she continues to enjoy the happy, healthy life she's found at the Refuge.
