Jess and her brother Eli are 8 years old and came to us from Colorado at the end of December 2016. The operator of an animal facility in Colorado had 115 animals of which 75 were tigers. When his health began to fail, Tigers of America (TIA) stepped in. In September 2016 they and Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge (TCWR) took on the mammoth job of caring for the big cats and slowly relocating them to permanent homes. Popcorn Park was honored that we were among those getting a call. 

We made our new arrivals comfortable while we made needed renovations to their den, pond and exercise yard. When the remodeling was complete Eli and Jess cautiously inspected it all and returned inside. After 3 days exploration, they made the space their own, even playing a game of tag! Jess is not quite as confident as her brother and was a bit more cautious in exploring and settling into her new surroundings. But now that she's been here awhile, she loves her pond, and enjoys playing with Eli just as she's always done. Please consider sponsoring Jess today!
