Jonathan is a magnificent tiger with an even bigger personality! Born in June 2014, he has spent much of his life adapting to change. After living at several zoos, Jonathan and his younger sister, Jules, arrived at Cherry Brook Zoo in 2017. When the zoo closed in 2020, the siblings once again found themselves in need of a new home.

Despite efforts to relocate them within Canada, no institution could offer them a permanent home, leaving the pair in need of help. Our team at Popcorn Park knew we had to step in, and after two years of careful planning and coordination, Jules and Jonathan finally made their way to us in July 2022. 

In the fall of 2025, another exciting chapter began for the pair when they moved into a beautifully renovated habitat designed with their natural instincts in mind. The expanded space features elevated perches for climbing, sturdy logs for scratching, and a large water feature where they can splash, cool off, and even go for a swim. Watching Jonathan and Jules explore every inch of their new home and truly make it their own has been incredibly rewarding!
