When you answer the phone here at Popcorn Park you never know what to expect. This time it was a call from NJ Fish and Wildlife. They had a small monkey that they had confiscated during police activity at a private residence. Avaya, a young African Green monkey, was being kept illegally so Fish & Wildlife needed somewhere for her to go. Once we saw the little girl we gladly said Yes! She’s a real sweetheart. We picked her up at a vet’s office where she was being held and brought her back to her new home.
