When MaryAnn first arrived at Popcorn Park, she had a lot to discover. Having spent her early years in captivity, the world was a new and exciting place for her. She quickly took to climbing, scaling trees, and sometimes playfully swatting at her sister Bonnie as she passed below. It didn’t take long for MaryAnn to settle into her new life, filled with the freedom and opportunities that every bear deserves. Unfortunately, Ginger passed away due to old age, but MaryAnn and Bonnie continue to enjoy a special bond as they live side by side, each finding joy in the simple pleasures of life.

MaryAnn is a playful and curious bear, with a love for foraging. She enjoys snacking on grapes, apples, and peanuts, and spends much of her time hanging out with her sister Bonnie. Though they both appreciate their personal space, they often find comfort in one another’s company. MaryAnn is also known to greet visitors at the fence, offering a friendly wave as she enjoys the attention and love from the community. She has come a long way from the hardships of her past and now enjoys a healthy, enriching life surrounded by people who care for her deeply.
