Meet Kasper one of our most playful and energetic hybrid red foxes! Don’t be fooled—this little guy may be small, but he’s full of personality and always on the move.

Kasper arrived at Popcorn Park in August 2022, at just around 7 months old. Sadly, his former owners realized they couldn’t meet the unique needs of a wild animal and surrendered him. Like many foxes purchased as pets, Kasper was likely chosen for his cuteness without anyone realizing how high-energy, curious, and clever these animals can be.

Today, Kasper enjoys a life full of enrichment, exploration, and plenty of fox friends. He shares his habitat with Kit and Curveball, two other rescued hybrid foxes, and the trio loves to run, chase, and play together every day. Kasper thrives on sniffing out hidden treats, relaxing in cozy hideouts, and keeping a keen eye on all the action around him with his bright, clever eyes.

Kasper’s story is a perfect example of why foxes don't belong in backyards or apartments. Their wild instincts like digging, scent marking, and being active at night don’t disappear just because they’re raised by humans. But here at Popcorn Park, Kasper gets to live like a fox should: safe, enriched, and well cared for.
