Meet Thor, a stunning all-white Husky with a heart as big as his boundless spirit! At five years old, Thor has faced some tough breaks, but he’s ready to start a new chapter with a family who understands his unique needs. Thor's journey began when he arrived at our Newark shelter in July 2024, brought in by the Newark Police Department. They initially thought he was injured because he refused to walk, but he was just overwhelmed and scared. Since then, Thor’s story has been one of resilience and hope, and he’s shown us just how much love and loyalty he has to give.

This handsome boy has all the classic Husky traits—energy, intelligence, and a strong sense of independence. Thor adores outdoor adventures and will thrive with a family who’s as active as he is. He’s best suited for a home with someone experienced in Husky care, ready to provide the structure, exercise, and mental stimulation he craves. While he may meet other dogs with proper introductions, he’ll do best in a home that can offer him consistency and guidance.
