Smootchie is one of the newest additions to our Share-A-Pet program and she would love to have your support! Smootchie arrived at our shelter in the summer of 2021 when her previous owner passed away. She came to us with four other cats who were also in need of care. Smootchie, who was used to a mostly independent lifestyle as an indoor/outdoor cat, and took a while to adjusting to her new surroundings at the shelter.

Smootchie lives with our other Share-A-Pet cats in our free roaming cat room, Kitty City. She has found her favorite spot on the upper floor of Kitty City, where she enjoys snoozing in the sunshine from a big bay window. It’s her special retreat, where she can relax in her comfy bed and watch the world go by.

Smootchie is a gentle soul who prefers a quiet environment. She’s not very interactive with people yet, but she’s slowly getting more comfortable. Her reserved nature means she’s taking her time to warm up to new experiences and faces. Your support makes it possible for Smootchie to have a quiet, stress-free environment like Kitty City to spend her days, while enjoyig the company of her kitty friends and receiving all the TLC she could need.
