Sweet Pea's Rescue Story:
Sweet Pea, a rescued white-tailed deer, has been a beloved resident of Popcorn Park for many years. As a fawn, she was taken in by a well-meaning individual who thought she had been abandoned, unaware that her mother was likely nearby. Once raised by humans, a fawn loses the survival skills needed for life in the wild, so Sweet Pea could never be released. Instead, she found a forever home with us, where she has thrived. Known for her gentle nature and trusting demeanor, Sweet Pea enjoys the comfort of her familiar surroundings and the care of her caregivers. While she will never return to the wild, Sweet Pea is safe, loved, and cherished at Popcorn Park.
