Sweet Pea is a beautiful white-tailed deer who now calls Popcorn Park home after a well-meaning, but misinformed individual, "rescued" her from the wild. Like many fawns, Sweet Pea was likely resting quietly where her mother had left her, hidden from predators while Mama stayed nearby, often just out of sight, keeping watch and intentionally drawing attention away from her baby.

This natural behavior is often misunderstood by people who assume the fawn has been abandoned, leading them to take the animal in. Sadly, once a fawn is raised by humans, it cannot be returned to the wild, as it misses crucial lessons from its mother about survival, foraging, and fear of predators.

Sweet Pea now lives a safe and peaceful life at Popcorn Park, where she charms staff and visitors alike with her gentle nature and curious personality.
