Seven's Rescue Story:
In 2003, when she was just 1.5 years old, Seven and her mom Trudy were found severely neglected and underweight at a farm in Howell, NJ. The pair initially went to a local horse rescue group, but soon arrived at Popcorn Park so they could stay together. Seven and Trudy lived happily together at the Refuge for many years until Trudy passed in 2011. Now, Seven serves as the Park’s unofficial greeter - whinnying “Hello” to visitors and trotting to the fence to meet all the friendly faces. Seven loves frolicking in the snow and lives peacefully at the Refuge, surrounded by endless love and comfort, thanks to our supporters.
