Seven is one of the prettiest residents of Popcorn Park!  A sweet and beautiful horse who came to us in 2003 at 1.5 years old with her mom Trudy from a dire situation. An anonymous call was received at NJ SPCA to ask if something could be done to save the two horses located in Howell.  Investigators arrived just in time  to rescue the two severly underweight mares. The mares were eating stones, tree bark, dirt, and even their fence to survive.  With the help of a horse rescue group, they were sheltered, given very good care, and started to improve.  In order to keep the mother and daughter together, a special home was needed.  Popcorn Park agreed to take the little family because we knew that it would be cruel to separate this mother and daughter team after all they had been through together.  

The name Seven came from the beautiful white marking she has. She loves to roll around in the snow and fresh cut grass.  Seven likes to watch the visitors drive down Humane Way and anticipates their arrival inside the park.  She has served as the greeter of Popcorn Park for many years.
