Kya's Rescue Story:
Kya is a stunning white Bengal tiger who arrived at Popcorn Park in September 2013 at just 3 years old. Though beautiful, white tigers often face medical challenges, including vision issues like glaucoma. At six months old, Kya was already having sight problems, which progressed to complete blindness over the next few years. When the zoo could no longer accommodate her, Kya found her permanent home with us. She quickly adapted to new surroundings, delighting in playtime with her toys and greeting staff enthusiastically. Though blind, Kya remains happy and comfortable, receiving regular vet visits and eye care to manage her glaucoma.
