Brooklyn's Rescue Story:

Brooklyn is a stunning Columbian Boa Constrictor who joined us in 2022 after being discovered on the balcony of an apartment in Brooklyn, NY. Brooklyn weighs 45 pounds and measures 8 feet long! Boa Constrictors can grow up to 16 feet, needing much more space than a typical city apartment provides. Active, alert, and strong, boas like Brooklyn require proper enclosures and should only be handled by experienced individuals. Initially taken to the Animal Care Centers of NYC, she was transferred to Popcorn Park, where she now enjoys lifelong sanctuary and serves as an educational ambassador.
