Farm Animals
When our friends at Freedom Farms reached out for help, we knew we couldn’t say no. They had recently rescued a large group of sheep and goats from a farmer looking to leave the livestock trade—a man who had been selling young animals for brutal sacrificial rituals. Among those at risk were orphaned bottle babies and mothers with newborns, many only a day or two old. Initially, the farmer planned to sell them, but after discussions with Freedom Farms, he surrendered them instead, unwilling to take on the responsibility of raising them himself.
With so many animals needing homes, Freedom Farms worked tirelessly to place them in safe, caring environments. That’s when they asked if we could take in a mother sheep and her two lambs. Without hesitation, we made room, ensuring they would never face the fate that so many others had. Now, Mama and her two daughters, Tic and Toc, are safe at Popcorn Park, where they will live out their days in comfort and peace.
These three have settled in beautifully, enjoying their own spacious yard and cozy barn. Mama is protective and nurturing, always keeping a watchful eye on her girls. Tic and Toc are full of playful energy, bouncing around their enclosure and curiously investigating everything around them. It’s heartwarming to see them thrive, knowing how different their lives could have been.
