Cosmo is a Vietnamese pot-bellied pig who arrived at Popcorn Park as a young pig in 2016, when his previous owner could no longer care for him. We were happy to welcome Cosmo to the Refuge, where he quickly settled in alongside our other pig residents in Pig Alley!

Cosmo is a very friendly pig and no stranger to people. He has formed strong bonds with our keepers and is always eager to greet visitors with cheerful snorts and a curious personality. Whether he’s waddling over to say hello or investigating what’s going on around him, Cosmo loves being part of the action.

Like many pigs, Cosmo enjoys tasty treats, especially apples and carrots, but his all-time favorite pastime is soaking up the sunshine! On warm days, you’ll often find him stretched out in his favorite spot, happily sunbathing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

Pigs are incredibly intelligent and complex animals. They require ample outdoor space to roam, plenty of social interaction, and enrichment to support their mental, emotional, and physical well-being.

At the Refuge, we also ensure our pigs receive proper hoof care, routine veterinary attention, and a healthy, balanced diet. Cosmo receives nothing but the very best care each and every day!
