One Very Special Puppy Needs Your Help! At just 4 months old, Hazel arrived at the shelter limping, with a severely swollen leg. X-rays revealed that her leg was broken in three places—a devastating injury so severe that immediate amputation was necessary. Our staff rushed Hazel to Bayshore Veterinary Hospital, where she received the lifesaving care she desperately needed. Today, Hazel is recovering in a loving foster home and learning all about life on three legs. Sadly, the beginning of Hazel’s short life was anything but happy.
