Honor a Loved One With a Custom Memorial Picnic Table Sponsorship

Create a meaningful tribute to someone special with a Memorial Picnic Table at Popcorn Park Animal Refuge. Your annual sponsorship provides a welcoming place for visitors to gather, enjoy the refuge, and make lasting memories while honoring the life and memory of a loved one. A personalized memorial plaque will accompany the table, creating a special reminder of the person you wish to remember for years to come.

Memorial Recognition

Your annual sponsorship includes:

• Your choice of a standard or ADA-accessible picnic table, with availability subject to change.
• Picnic tables are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
• A personalized memorial plaque displayed with your sponsored picnic table.
• The opportunity to honor a loved one in a special place at Popcorn Park Animal Refuge.
• All proposed memorial plaque names are subject to review and approval by Popcorn Park Animal Refuge. Names containing offensive, inappropriate, or objectionable language will not be accepted.

Annual Sponsorship

The cost of a Memorial Picnic Table is $1,000 per year, with the option to pay for multiple years in advance.

• Your annual sponsorship term begins on the date the memorial is installed on-site.
• Approximately three months prior to the annual renewal date, Popcorn Park Animal Refuge will contact the memorial owner regarding renewal. If you wish to continue your sponsorship for another year, you may renew online.
• If the memorial owner does not respond within 15 days of the initial renewal notification, the memorial picnic table will be made available for sponsorship by another donor.
• If renewal payment is not received within 30 days of the initial renewal notification, the memorial plaque will be removed.
• If the memorial owner chooses not to renew, they will have 60 days from the date of plaque removal to arrange pickup of the memorial plaque from Popcorn Park Animal Refuge. If the plaque is not retrieved within 60 days, Popcorn Park Animal Refuge reserves the right to honorably dispose of the plaque.
• The memorial owner is responsible for notifying Popcorn Park Animal Refuge of any changes to their contact information, as well as any transfer of ownership to a next of kin.
