October is Pitbull Awareness Month and we’re celebrating one of our favorite, most misrepresented breeds by highlighting some of the many Pitbull’s & Terrier Mixes in our care at AHS.

The original “Nanny Dog,” the common misconception that they’re vicious attack dogs. Although AHS sees their fair share of Pitbull’s from cruelty cases, owner surrenders, or even strays, these dogs come in looking for a soft landing and a second chance.

Throughout the month of October, each $25 donation made toward our Love-a-Bull campaign will land you a special paw print gift in the mail from one of our highlighted residents in our care.
