Bella, a 10-year-old Yorkie, came to AHS Lacey after police reached out about a lost dog in need of medical care. She was underweight, had matted fur, severe dental disease, and multiple mammary masses, including one that had painfully ruptured. Bella is now safe in foster care and preparing for surgery and dental treatment to relieve her pain and address the tumors. While we don’t yet know what her future holds or whether the masses may be cancerous, we do know she deserves a chance to live her senior years healthy and comfortable.
