Adopt Aslan
Aslan's Rescue Story:
Aslan, an African lion, lives with his sister, Savannah, at Popcorn Park. The siblings spent their early years moving between Canadian zoos, but in April 2020, they needed a new home again when their last zoo closed. With no Canadian facility available, Popcorn Park stepped in to rescue them. Due to the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and the complexities of international travel, the rescue took two years of careful planning. On June 26, 2022, Aslan and Savannah arrived at Popcorn Park, where they quickly settled in and enjoy interacting with visitors. Now in their fourth home, we're proud to provide them with a stable, lifelong refuge.
